How we move a piano
Uprights are wrapped, strapped to a piano board and rolled on a heavy dolly. Grands are dismantled — lid, lyre and legs off — wrapped piece by piece, and boarded on edge. Stairs, turns and thresholds get planned before anything is lifted.

Do you move just the piano, nothing else?
Yes. Standalone piano moves are normal for us — across town or across the region.
Will the piano need tuning afterwards?
Probably, but from the humidity change rather than the move. Give it a few weeks to settle in the new room, then have it tuned.
